Charlotte SF Corey Maggette strained his left hamstring during Wednesday's win over the Knicks. Maggette played 22 minutes before leaving and shot just 4 of 12 from the field with a 3-pointer for 12 points. Maggette added four assists, three rebounds and a steal in the contest. He's considered day to day for the Bobcats.

Warriors guard Stephen Curry continues to have problems with his left ankle. He sprained his ankle in the third quarter of Wednesday's game against the Spurs after landing awkwardly after a pump fake. He went to the locker room and did not return to the game. Curry had 20 points and eight assists before leaving with the injury.

Bobcats coach Paul Silas says forward Corey Maggette will miss two to four weeks with a strained left hamstring.

Silas says Derrick Brown will start Friday night against the Hawks, and Tyrus Thomas also will play. Thomas has not played this season because of a sprained ankle.

Silas says Maggette's loss hurts because "he's one of the key factors of our team."

Maggette, who was injured in Wednesday night's victory against the Knicks, is averaging 12.2 points and 6.2 rebounds per game. Brown is averaging 4.3 points and 3.2 rebounds per game.
