Dennis Schroder scored 19 points in the first quarter of Monday's loss to the Warriors but finished with just 23 points, four boards, three assists, a steal and four 3-pointers, and sat on the bench for the game's final 21 minutes, despite not being injured.
Schroder looked like an All-Star in the first quarter, so the benching was a bit of a surprise. Coach Mike Budenholzer reportedly benched him due to a Steph Curry 3-pointer that happened while Schroder and Dwight Howard were arguing, instead of playing defense.
