Spurs G Manu Ginobili suffered a fracture to the fifth metacarpal in his left hand in Monday's game against the Timberwolves. He was injured when he fouled Anthony Tolliver on a play near the basket late in the second quarter. He was forced from the contest after scoring eight points with two rebounds in 13 minutes. The 34-year-old also had two assists and a steal. After the game, assistant coach Don Newman said the team expects Ginobili to miss four to six weeks.

Grizzlies F Zach Randolph is expected to miss up to eight weeks of playing time after an MRI revealed a slight tear of his MCL, according to the Memphis Commercial Appeal. However, the injury will reportedly not require surgery and Randolph will be re-examined in two weeks. Randolph sustained the injury on Sunday when O.J. Mayo fell into his right knee.
